Hongdae Ilsim Jangeo

Ilsim Jangeo is an eel restaurant in Yeonnam-dong, Seoul, serving charcoal-grilled eel. The eel is Pungcheon Japanese eel, par-grilled first and finished over charcoal, and served with yeolmu kimchi noodles. Before grilling, the staff show the size of the eel, then grill it at the table until it is done. The dining room is large and comfortable.
