From Hanoi is a Vietnamese restaurant in a Mangwon alley near the entrance of Mangwon Market, serving Hanoi-style pho, bun cha, and banh xeo. The signature mixed pho comes with noodles that have not swelled, meat, and pickled onion, and the banh xeo is eaten wrapped in thin rice paper. The shop is small, so in the evening you may wait about 10 minutes outside, and bean sprouts, cilantro, and hot chili are brought only if you ask for them. The pho broth is rich but the flavor is ordinary.
