Fumiya

Fumiya is an udon shop on the south corner of the Nishiki Market arcade in Kyoto. Its nabe udon, Fumiya Nabe, contains grilled mochi and mushrooms and is served with fish cake and fried shrimp. The earthenware pot udon arrives hot enough that you have to blow on it. When a line forms, the wait is long and burdensome.
