Ramen Gyan is a small ramen shop directly in front of Aso Station, serving tonkotsu, shoyu, and spicy miso ramen. The spicy fish-and-pork-bone ramen has a katsuobushi broth flavor and is less spicy than Shin Ramyun, while the tonkotsu comes with a large piece of meat and a soft-boiled egg. The small dining room has only 8 to 9 counter seats, and local customers keep coming in around 6 p.m. The noodle portions are on the small side.
