Thai in Plate is a Southeast Asian restaurant near the back gate of Konkuk University in Hwayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, serving Thai, Indonesian, and Vietnamese food. Its signature dishes are pad thai and nasi goreng, and the nasi goreng is stir-fried over high heat so the rice comes out separate and fluffy. The pad thai is about as spicy as Shin Ramyun, and the nasi goreng is spicier than expected. The flavors are adjusted for Korean tastes rather than following local Southeast Asian versions.
