Takoyaki Hiroko

Hiroko Takoyaki is an old specialty shop selling egg takoyaki inside Tenjinbashi market in Osaka. The batter uses a low ratio of flour, giving it a soft, moist texture like a fluffy egg bread. As of 2025, an 88-year-old grandmother runs it with her daughter, the grandmother handling the sauce and tea while the daughter does most of the grilling. The seasoning can taste salty.
