Umeda Arts Theater

Umeda Arts Theater stages musicals and plays and is located in Chayamachi, about an 8-minute walk from Osaka Station. Its productions include Les Misérables and Frankenstein, and seating extends to the third floor. Before a performance, audiences line up and present tickets to enter, and during intermission a long line forms at the women's restroom. Seats are small with little legroom, so bags and coats have to be kept on your lap during the show.
