Osaka Tenmangu is a shrine known for Tenjin Matsuri, one of Japan's three major festivals. It is a few minutes on foot from JR Osakatenmangu Station and Osaka Metro Minamimorimachi Station. Tenjinbashisuji Shotengai, described as the longest shopping street in Japan, is nearby, with restaurants and shops along the surrounding streets. JR Osakatenmangu Station is underground and connects underground to the Tanimachi Line and Sakaisuji Line at Minamimorimachi Station, and the shrine buildings are not clearly visible from a distance, making the route hard to find on a first visit.
