Osaka Central Public Hall is a modern architectural landmark in Nakanoshima that is over 100 years old. Its exterior combines red brick, stone, and a green roof, and visitors photograph it during the day and at night. The basement floor holds an exhibition hall, reached by elevator from the first floor outside the building, while the upper floors are used as meeting rooms. During the year-end Festival of Lights, illumination runs from 17:00 to 21:00, but there are almost no places nearby to eat or drink beer.
