Chukasoba Asazuki

Chuka Soba Asazuki is a Chinese noodle shop in the Hokancho shopping street, a five-minute walk from the west exit of Okayama Station. Its signature dish is katsusoba, thin noodles in a pork bone and soy sauce broth topped with a pork cutlet and chashu. The shop opened in 1948, and the katsusoba comes with three slices of chashu as well as the cutlet. The broth looks rich but can taste plain or bland.
