Syokudo Yamato

Yamato is a restaurant in Okayama that serves demikatsudon and chuka soba. Demikatsudon, a local Okayama dish, tops rice with a pork cutlet and a thick demiglace sauce, while the chuka soba is served in a broth containing katsuobushi. On weekday lunches a wait forms, and on Sundays one case had people lining up at 1:30 pm and entering around 2:20 pm. Katsudon and chuka soba can be ordered in small sizes.
