Tonkatsu Shimizu

Donkatsu Shimizu is a katsu sando shop on the road heading from Gion toward Nijo and Marutamachi. The katsu sando is made by frying a thick cut of meat whole, letting it rest, then cutting it into three pieces, and you can choose between rosu and hire. Before the meal, curry or meat soup is served, and payment is cash only, so you can withdraw cash at a convenience store three minutes away. Dine-in orders carry a seating charge called otooshi.
