Seosoemun History Park in Seoul preserves the history of Catholic persecution during the Joseon Dynasty. It sits in Seoul's Jung-gu district near Seoul Station, where the underground Seosomun Martyrs' History Museum connects to exhibition halls that also host special exhibitions. After the Sinyu Persecution of 1801, at least 10 people executed here were identified among the martyrs, and the site served as an official execution ground during the Joseon Dynasty. Walking paths and convenience facilities are limited.
