Seokjojeon is a Western-style stone palace inside Deoksugung in Jung-gu, Seoul, operated as the Korean Empire History Hall. Built in the British Neoclassical style and completed in 1910, it served as Emperor Gojong's office and reception room for foreign envoys. Entry to the interior is by advance reservation on the official website or by on-site first-come registration, and visitors go in and out with a guide. English commentary is offered twice a day.
