Namsan Yejang Park

Namsan Yejang Park sits on Namsan across from the Sejong Hotel in Chungmuro, on the site of the former Central Intelligence Agency headquarters with traces of the Japanese colonial period. The park holds historical remains including the Site of Memory, an upside-down stele, and the site of the Government-General's official residence, along with various plants and a small fountain. From Myeongdong Station Exit 1, visitors pass an escalator and the Namsan Dulle-gil before climbing about 300 stairs to a pavilion and then the park. Much of the ground is stone, so there is no lawn.
