Junghwamun is the main gate of the central hall at Deoksugung in Seoul, leading to Junghwajeon. It was first built in 1902 together with Junghwajeon, then rebuilt in 1906 with a single-story paljak roof after a large fire in 1904. Two dragons symbolizing the emperor are carved on the dapdo at the entrance of the royal path leading to Junghwajeon. The surrounding corridors are gone, leaving only the gate standing.
