Yeongeunhae Sikdang

Yeongeunhae Sikdang is a fish stew restaurant in Bupyeong-dong, Busan, serving maeuntang made with live rockfish (ureok), cod soup, and mulmego soup. For the rockfish maeuntang, staff catch the rockfish from a tank with a net, boil it, and ladle it into bowls, and sujebi (hand-torn dough soup) is served as well. Fish is cleaned and cooked to order, and the meat is deboned before serving, so there are few bones to worry about. Side dishes include seasoned crab, stir-fried zucchini, and oyster kkakdugi, though the basic side dishes are somewhat sparse.
