Sumire Tonkatsu

Sumire Donkatsu is a specialty shop across from the Constitutional Court in Jaedong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, serving hire, rosu, cheese, and hambak donkatsu. The tenderloin is thick and soft, with house-made sauce for the cabbage and freshly ground sesame added to the donkatsu sauce. Orders are cooked to order, so food takes some time, and the owner alone handles serving, payment, guiding, and clearing. At lunchtime, walking in without a reservation means waiting.
