Orai

Orai Deungsim is a meat restaurant inside Gwangjang Market that grills thinly sliced pork loin over charcoal. The gochujang-marinated loin is called donggeurangttaeng and is eaten with paechae. It has been open for nearly 50 years, and customers start drinking from midday, with dried radish greens soup and dongchimi served alongside. The meat is thin and burns easily on the charcoal, so you have to keep turning it yourself.
