Wonyeong Sikdang

Wonyeong Sikdang is a very small, old restaurant in Jeju that serves only one menu item: kimchi stew. The stew, made with well-fermented kimchi, meat, and tofu, sits between a kimchi soup and a thicker stew, and comes with rolled omelette, seaweed, and seasoned bean sprouts as side dishes. The restaurant does not sell alcohol, and at lunch it can be hard to get a seat, with waits of 30 minutes. Prices have gone up compared to before.
