Gongcheonpo Sikdang

Gongcheonpo Sikdang is a Jeju-style mulhoe restaurant facing the sea and port at Gongcheonpo in Seogwipo, serving abalone hoe and squid (hanchi) hoe. The mulhoe uses doenjang as its base, which is how the Jeju-style preparation shows. Vegetables fill the mulhoe, and the abalone comes through with a chewy texture. When squid (hanchi) is out of season, frozen squid (hanchi) is used, and the portion of mulhoe is on the small side.
