Gonae-ri

Gonae-ri is a small oreum near Aewol High School with an observation deck and walking trails. From the deck at the top, Hallasan and the sea are visible together, along with cherry blossoms in season. The climb from the parking lot on the right side of Bogwangsa takes about ten minutes to the summit, and mats laid from the entrance keep the path less muddy when it rains. The slope is steep, and trees and a cell tower at the top block the view.
