Hwajeong

Hwajeong is a Chinese restaurant in Yeon-dong, behind the Jeju Provincial Government Office. It serves ganjajang, jjampong, and chapssal tangsuyuk, with a strong wok-charred flavour in the jjampong. It opens at 11 a.m., and lunchtime is busier because of reservations, with fewer people before noon. Kitchen staff were repeatedly seen cooking without masks.
