Gwangyang Ijo Jjigaejip

Gwangyang Ijo Jjigaejip is a jjigae restaurant in front of Jeju City Hall that serves pollack stew, kimchi stew, and doenjang stew. The pollack stew has a clean, spicy broth with generous amounts of innards and roe, and goni can be added. It was started with the owner's mother and has continued for over 25 years, and the current operator now runs it alone. The stews and side dishes are on the salty side.
