Hwadam

Hwadam is an old meat restaurant near Jamsil Saenae Station that serves rice-straw samgyeopsal (pork belly), jar-aged whole pork belly, and kimchi stew at lunch. The thick samgyeopsal (pork belly) is pre-grilled, then grilled once more on the table grill, and diners also order the steamed egg and kimchi stew. It opened in 2008, and only the first floor is open during the day while up to the third floor is used in the evening. A single serving of meat is on the small side, and extra lettuce costs money.
