Shin Kimchi Samgyeobsal

Singimchi Saengsamgyeopsal is a samgyeopsal restaurant located in Mapo-gu, Seoul, at 50 Yanghwa-ro, visible immediately when turning right from Hapjeong Station Exit 5. It serves only samgyeopsal and pork collar, and the meat is grilled old-style on a stone plate together with fresh kimchi. After ordering, the staff place fresh kimchi on the grill and set out doenjang jjigae, spicy bean sprout muchim, lettuce, and garlic, and the seats are often full at quitting time. The restaurant is on a basement floor with weak ventilation, so the meat smell clings to your clothes.
