Happy Cake Shop (Happy Roller) is a cake shop in Mong Kok that sells matcha, hojicha and oolong roll cakes. The roll cakes use Marukyu Koyamaen matcha and are made with little oil and sugar, filled with smooth matcha cream. Visiting without a reservation often means the cakes are sold out, so booking through Instagram is required. The matcha roll is bitter with little sweetness.
