The Red Brick Building stands on Shanghai Street in Yau Ma Tei, next to the Yau Ma Tei Theatre. Built in 1895, it is a Grade 1 historic building that once served as the engineers' office of the old Water Supplies Department pump house. Its exterior retains red brick walls and cast-iron rainwater pipes. It now houses the Yau Ma Tei Theatre office, and the limited indoor access means the interior is difficult to see, so it is viewed from outside.
