Star Street

The Avenue of Stars is a Hong Kong film walk of fame that runs along the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront promenade. Names, handwritten signatures, and handprints of Jackie Chan, Chow Yun-fat, Andy Lau, Tony Leung, and Maggie Cheung line the railing facing the sea, and statues of Bruce Lee and Anita Mui are also there. It is crowded from morning until late at night, and finding a favorite actor is easier if you know the Chinese or English spelling of the name. The Symphony of Lights has no background music, and LED lights appear only on some buildings, spaced apart.
