The Hillside Escalator is a long uphill escalator attraction that runs from Mid-Levels to SoHo in Hong Kong. Riders go up while looking at views of Hong Kong, and can get off midway to look around nearby restaurants and streets. The escalator climbs a steep hill at a speed that is neither fast nor slow, so riders can use it while taking a rest. The mood of older Hong Kong films is now hard to find there.
