1881 Heritage in Tsim Sha Tsui is a historic complex converted from the former Hong Kong Marine Police Headquarters, housing luxury shops and restaurants. The Victorian-era buildings retain cannons used against pirates and a time ball tower that signalled the hour, along with gardens and a clock tower. Walking the outdoor areas takes about 30 minutes, and the site changes appearance at night with illuminated views. It looks different by day and by night.
