Kawabata Shopping Arcade

Kawabata Shotengai is a covered shopping and dining arcade in Fukuoka, not far from Tenjin Station and behind a shrine. Shops and restaurants line both sides, including a Korean goods store, a massage shop, local ramen shops and izakayas. The roof lets people walk regardless of the weather, and a drugstore stays open 24 hours. There is not much for tourists to buy.
