LaLaport Fukuoka is a large shopping mall with clothing and household goods stores and restaurants, about a 20-minute bus ride from Hakata Station. Shoppers can browse brands such as Uniqlo, GU, and Muji, and eat at the food court on the third floor. The roughly 18-meter life-size Nu Gundam at the entrance moves its arms and head with music every hour on the hour, and lights come on in the evening. The mall is far from the city center and public transport is not convenient.
