Pearl Lady

Pearl Lady is a takeout cafe on the first floor outside the ticket gates of Hakata Station in Fukuoka. It sells tapioca drinks, with choices of black tea, oolong tea, milk tea and fruit milk, and customers can adjust the amount of ice, the sweetness and the toppings. There is no seating and only takeout is available, with lids that close tightly for drinking while moving and a dedicated carrying bag provided. Staff responses are brusque and their voices are quiet.
