Kabutoya

Hakata Kannato Kabutoya is a small cafe in a quiet alley in Fukuoka that serves desserts made with red bean and soybean flour alongside coffee. Its signature items are red bean paste butter sandwiches, chocolate ice cream, and vanilla ice cream dusted with soybean flour. Before the dessert arrives, a bite-sized sweet is served as a taster. The cafe has few tables, mostly for two, so it cannot seat large groups at once.
