Saechong Hoetjip

Saechong Hoetjip is a natural-caught hoe restaurant in Banyeo-dong, Busan. It slices natural fish such as flatfish, striped beakfish and pufferfish thin and long, giving the hoe a chewy texture with intact grain. Calling ahead to reserve lets you eat right away at a set table, and after the hoe comes gajami miyeokguk and a maeuntang where you choose whether to add sancho. It sits in a residential alley well inside from Haeundae, so it is hard to reach by public transit and reservations are not easy either.
