Bonghwangdae is a Silla-era stone-piled wooden chamber tomb in Gyeongju, located in Nodong-dong across from Daereungwon and in front of Silla Daejong, near Hwangnidan-gil. It is Korea's largest single round mound, with two large old trees growing on top of the burial mound. The tomb has not yet been excavated, and visitors can rest and walk on the benches and the wide lawn. Shops nearby close after 8 p.m.
