Maenggu Pocha

Maenggu Pocha is a retro bar near Gwangalli Beach in Busan that serves seasonal seafood, live-fish hoe, and pocha snacks. The live-fish hoe platter comes with three kinds of hoe such as milchi, flounder, and dodaari, along with maeuntang, and butter grilled flower crab and potato myeongnanjeon can also be ordered. Music from the 1980s and 1990s plays inside, and there are arcade game machines and nostalgic snacks exchanged for Maenggu coins. Seats fill quickly enough that the place reaches full capacity even on weekdays, so a wait is possible.
