Taeyeong Saeng Makchang

Taeyoung Saeng Makchang is a neighborhood grill in Guro-dong, Seoul, serving pork makchang and samgyeopsal. The makchang is cleaned thoroughly, seared with a torch, and then grilled, and the meal comes with gyeranjjim and a doenjang jjigae that is spicy but not salty. The makchang has almost no odor, and staff grill it on the griddle so you can eat without cooking. When the restaurant is busy, you may have to grill it yourself.
