Songjeong Sikdang

Songjeong Sikdang is a fish stew restaurant behind the old train station in Gunsan. Its main dishes are boktang and monkfish jjim, and the monkfish jjim contains more monkfish than bean sprouts. The restaurant has cooked the same dishes for decades, serves a range of Jeolla-style side dishes, and offers takeout. The boktang is made with pufferfish that has been dried slightly.
