Sinheung-Gwan

Sinheunggwan is an old-style Chinese restaurant in Donaedong, Deogyang-gu, Goyang, near Doraewol Village and IKEA, run by an elderly couple. Fried rice and jjamppong are ordered often, and the jjamppong has a clear, spicy broth with a strong pepper taste and flat, thin noodles. Portions feel larger than 1.5 servings, closer to more than a double portion. The menu available and the opening hours change according to the owner's mood, and only cash is accepted, not cards.
