Donghae Hoetjip

Donghae Hoetjip sits on the Woljeon coastal road in Gijang, Busan, and serves grilled eel and hoe over charcoal. Live conger eel is grilled at the table on a charcoal grate, with doenjang jjigae or maeuntang on the side. The restaurant occupies the third floor of a newly built building, with room-style seating for families and an on-site parking attendant. On busy days there are waits and crowding.
