Bonghwanggak

Bonghwangak is a Cheondoism holy site and the birthplace of the March 1st Movement, located in Uidong at the entrance to Bukhansan. Son Byeong-hui established it as a Cheondoism education center, where 483 national leaders were trained over seven sessions. The building was constructed in 1912 and sits 700 meters from Bukhansan Ui Station Exit 2, so it takes about 10 minutes to look around. It is not well known to the general public.
