Menya Yuko began in Kyoto and operates a ramen shop in Tenjin, Fukuoka, next to Don Quijote, serving shellfish broth ramen with shoyu and shio seasonings. Its main dish, the shellfish broth shoyu ramen Hachiku, combines the savor of oysters, clams and corbicula in a clear soup, served with chewy noodles and rare chashu. The shio ramen is limited to 30 bowls per day, and on weekday lunches customers can enter without waiting. The shop does not accept cards, only cash and PayPay.
