Shohachiman Shrine is a small Hachiman shrine in a residential area of Kokuraminami Ward in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka. Inside the grounds sits Suzuiwa, a rock that resembles the boulder Tanjiro cut in the manga Demon Slayer. In 859 the divided spirit of Usa Hachimangu stayed overnight at Suzuiwa, and the shrine was built in 883. The train station is far away and buses run infrequently, so reaching it by public transport is not easy.
