Nanzo-in Temple

Nanzoin is a Buddhist temple in Fukuoka where visitors can see a large reclining Buddha. Walking slowly through the temple grounds and gardens takes at least one hour and thirty minutes. Staff check clothing at the entrance, and visitors without knee-covering garments can rent them from a nearby shop. The dress code restricts clothing that exposes the knees and visible tattoos.
