Mojiko Station is a JR railway station in the Mojiko area of Kitakyushu, known for its European-style buildings. Built in 1914 in Neo-Renaissance style, the wooden station building is Japan's first railway station designated a National Important Cultural Property and was restored in 2019. It is the starting and terminal station of the Kagoshima Main Line. From Hakata Station, the Shinkansen reaches Kokura Station in 16 minutes, and a JR transfer takes about 20 minutes to arrive.
