Heiwa Minami Ryokuchi Observatory sits about a 10-minute walk from the Heiwa 1-chome and Nagao 2-chome bus stops in Fukuoka. From the observation point, the view opens 360 degrees across the city, taking in Tenjin, Fukuoka Tower, and planes descending toward Fukuoka Airport, with no trees blocking the sightlines. There is no parking lot, and the climb goes up a steep slope before continuing via a long staircase or a mountain path beside the signboards.
