Daihonzan Zendoji is a Buddhist temple in Zendojimachi, Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture, and the only head temple of the Jodo sect in Kyushu. It was founded in 1208 by the merchant Jinsai, and its grounds include a main hall and several other buildings, a roughly 800-year-old camphor tree, and a main hall and main gate designated as Important Cultural Properties. Goshuin of several kinds are available at the office, and even when the main hall doors are closed, visitors open them and worship according to the posted instructions. The road into the parking lot is narrow.
