Yeontanjip Sogeum Gui

Yeontanjip Sogeum Gui is a charcoal grill restaurant in Noryangjin, Seoul, where samgyeopsal (pork belly) and pork collar are cooked over yeontan briquettes. The meat is grilled over the briquettes, which gives it the distinct smoke of the fuel. The briquette fire holds a nearly constant heat for as long as you sit at the table, unlike charcoal. The samgyeopsal is on the firm and chewy side.
